IJburg is a new district at the eastside of Amsterdam. On six islands 18.000 houses will be realized for approx. 45.000 inhabitants. In one part of this district very exclusive houses are built, which are designed and built according to the new owners tastes and ideas.

Architect René Bos has designed an exclusive manor-house with DinamiC CCC façade-elements in a regular pattern of 60 x 60 cm. The "graphite"-black "gabro" panels, in a thickness of 15 mm, are fixed with a bonding-system to a ventilated aluminium subconstruction.

The surface is provided with a special colour-impregnation to intensify the dark aura. In this way a "traditional" manor-house gets the image of a beautiful dwelling with an austere and modern design.
