3.000 m2 DinamiC CCC 25 mm | colour: umbra / surface: linen | realized: 2002
The first big project in which glassfi bre-concrete was applied in the German faƧade-cladding-sector was produced by Fydro in Dinamic CCC. The 3.000 m2 faƧade is built from extremely large elements with dimensions up to 8 m2. The project āHaus Rheinlanddammā in Dortmund is recognised as a milestone in the short but successful history of GRC in the German faƧade-cladding-industry.
The faƧade-elements are used with dimensions of up to 2.100 x 3.850 mm with a thickness of 25 mm. The concrete-surface has a ālinenstructureā, which was especially developed for this project. The colour of the faƧade is designed to match the windows and the coated aluminium casing to enhance the uniformity of the faƧade. The result is an umbra-grey faƧade with a āwarmā appearance.
